During its tenure, Glory Horizons have had many success stories and just to name a few, FIFA, Disney, Modhesh and AdCop are one of those.

1-    FIFA  

In 2010, Glory Horizons became the official distributor for selected FIFA 2010 World Cup merchandise. Merchandise categories included various apparels, headwear, footballs and the toys featuring the FIFA 2010 World Cup.

Fuleco, the official mascot of the FIFA World Cup 2014 was touring Dubai giving football fans in the Middle East an opportunity to see an icon of hosts Brazil for the first time.
 "We are honoured to have the mascot which symbolises the World Cup in Brazil. This is proof that Dubai is not focusing on a sport event by itself. From time to time we are looking at new concepts and integrating with the community itself," said Ghazi Al Madani, Sports Tourism Manager of Dubai Sports Council at a press conference.
The top FIFA official also announced that Glory Horizons, a Dubai-based company has been appointed the official distributor in the GCC to manufacture and distribute the official merchandise and memorabilia for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

"It's important to work with companies and licensees in order to make sure we give a piece of the action for the consumers. No matter where you are in the world, we will make sure there are products available for each type of consumers who are interested in football or interested in sport as a whole," said Vlieg who assured that they have brand protection scheme in place to track counterfeit products.

"We have different quality products. It will suit different segments. Prices will be more or less same in the GCC but we hope to reach every level of buyers," said Al Ghanim.

The contract will see Glory Horizons supply over 600 different products and FIFA fan-base merchandise and souvenirs to the retail market in the GCC as well Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Yemen and Syria.

"It is important for FIFA to find right partner for different regions in order to make a difference. We found very nice partnership with Glory Horizons," said Vlieg.

"It's absolutely very important leading upto 2014, 2018 and 2022 that we already started legacy in region to make people get familiar with Fuleco. No matter where you are, we will give the opportunity to consumers or as a fan of FIFA World Cup," he added.
Glory Horizons is looking forward to keep on delivering the FIFA merchandise in the upcoming FIFA events as well.

2-    Disney  

 In 2008 Glory Horizons became a Disney Retail Licensee for the Middle East and opened its first 3 Trendyland Kiosks in Dubai Festival City and Dubai Mall. During the early 2009, the first operation in Lebanon started with the Trendyland store in Beirut and new Trendyland shop opened in Magic Planet in Mall of The Emirates.
Disney, the leader in entertainment industry has various product lines and Glory Horizons is responsible for the distribution of some of those product lines throughout GCC. The demand for Disney merchandise is on the increase since then, as Glory Horizons has increased its area of operation for Disney.


3-    Modhesh

The introduction of a new line of ‘Modhesh’ branded merchandise to the company’s existing and very competitive line of products. This new line which includes beach towels, bed linen, camping chairs, accessories, cushions and tents added value to the company’s already strong reputation in the region. In addition, the company expanded its operations throughout the region through the appointment of agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for key items.  

The Dubai Shopping Festival Office, pioneers in the region's festival industry, announced a new line of Modhesh merchandise on the first day of Character Dubai in 2008, as His Highness Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, opened the region's first character and licensing exhibition on Tuesday, October 28, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
HH Sheikh Majid made a prolonged stop at the colourful Modhesh stand and was received by Laila Suhail, CEO; Ibrahim Saleh, Coordinator General; and other senior officials of the Dubai Shopping Festival Office. His Highness was briefed on the aim of the DSF Office's participation in the exhibition and the role played by the government department in promoting the region's emerging character and licensing industry.

The first day of the exhibition witnessed the announcement by the DSF Office of a new line of Modhesh products. Named the 'Modhesh Kiddy Rides', the new addition of children's rides is aimed at adding value to the existing portfolio of over 600 exclusively branded Modhesh products that are successfully retailing across the city.

Commenting on the launch of the Modhesh Kiddy Rides, Laila Suhail said, "These rides form part of our endeavour to enrich the entertainment experience for children given the fact that they are extremely popular among the related age-group. The ride equipment was manufactured in Germany keeping with international quality standards and we aim to introduce new Modhesh products into the market soon."

Mr. Ghanim added that the rides are currently present inside Magic Planet at Deira City Centre and that plans were underway to introduce them in Magic Planet centres across the country in the first phase.

Visitors to Character Dubai 2008 can view the Modhesh Kiddy Rides and a whole range of other Modhesh merchandise at stand number 400 located at hall number 1 of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition concludes on October 30.

4-    Abu Dhabi Coop  

We have had the privilege to work for one of the best Government organisations in UAE, Abu Dhabi Coop. The popularity of Glory Horizons was unstoppable and that resulted in Glory Horizons undertaking the project of Mall Renovation for Abu Dhabi Coop. This was not just a minor project but a very complex one which could only be done by an effective plan and efficient time management. Starting from the shelving, the team put on a great effort to renovate the mall including chillers, freezers, ventilation system, branding and much more. Abu Dhabi coop team was so impressed by the level of services we provided that they gave the Sharjah Mega Mall project to Glory Horizons as well and assured their cooperation in the future too.
All of this was possible due to our hard working team of professionals that give their 100% on and off the site. We are proud to have them as a part of our organisation.
